Sure there has been an annual defecit for years (per SIlver Intitute Report) but that doesn't seem to help SIlver has become almost an industrial metal, there are few primary miners, and those who get it as a byproduct of copper/lead/zinc/gold mining don't want to bother with it - they dump it on the market at any price. The only time I liked silver was when I was a part-time coin dealer. I could buy silver rounds near spot, sell them at spot+.50, and go right back to the wholesaler and get more. I haven't figure out another way to profit from it !
