That is why so many of us who volunteer to help others, believe in a "hand up, not a hand out"..... In a way, it's like giving too many toys and expensive things to children....and then not making them take care of them. Pretty soon, habits are formed. They soon learn "there is more where that came from...., so why should I take care of it and put it away?" You and CB are very correct: if they own it they will take care of it.
