Hi Ski, Thanks for the reply. I've been offline for a couple weeks. I haven't read the latest on the TDFX thread yet, I'm sure it is as active as ever. I did just read the latest issue of BOOT magazine here at the Los Altos library. Although I now know that TDFX is an investor in BOOT, so I will take their pronouncements with a grain or two more salt. They reported from the trade show front. There does seem to be growing use of the Voodoo chip. It will be interesting to see how it is positioned during the runnup to the Christmas buying season. Thanks for the tip on the XPert board. I may take you up on your suggestion. I really like my old P90. I still use it for routine Photoshop batch processing of my digitized photos, and to create textures in Painter which I import for use in Rhino 3D. (If you haven't tried it yet, you should. I love Rhino! It's still free in beta and fully functional. I have been converting lots of my old design ideas into 3D.) I think the 3D graphics processor market is an interesting one. We'll see what shakes out over the next 6 months or so.
