A math professor, who happens to be an old friend of mine, just published a book where he examines various market theories and trading approaches from a mathematical point of view. I didn't finish the whole book yet, but apparently he doesn't think too highly about TA - and about EW in particular. He finds that nothing works consistently over time. amazon.com Well, we knew that. It is not the methodology, it is what the trader does with it. There is always a huge component of psychology and artistry in the trading game. Sentiment traders must learn the lesson that their approach can be worse than useless - before it may start working again. This rally will go on until the last bear buys the last dip.
