Any question that Ghost is the best product for making images?
I've been looking around for an accurate response that illustrates my POV. I guess this would be it.

Norton Ghost, all the way... especially for the network capabilities. You can wipe more often and have that fresh, clean feeling

btw, if you can think of a symantec part number, you can "upgrade" to ghost instead of paying an extra $20.
I've put across my case for a conservative defensive stance to become the master of your PC. Now that I can bring my PC back into normal operation in less then 5 minutes from total screw ups, I can afford to do some radical things...
....Like mess with registry files, master boot records, generally go completely ape with the OS, and know that I don't have to go back to square one for re installation every time. Sure, now I really might break some hardware, but it's expendable as far as I concerned in my relentless quest for further and better control of my PC.
It's like in a computer game where you are chased by the cyber demons and have a very tough life. Then you find the mega laser blaster plus lots of ammo. You can hose down the bad guys much faster then they can appear, and there is a certain satisfaction in being able to do that. -g-

I have an Epson 580 printer. It was working well printing loads and loads of stuff, often using el cheapo ink cartriges not recommended by Epson. I was beginning to wonder when the cogs and whirring bits would actually break down from over use when I got a message "Unknown error. Please shut down the printer and contact your local retailer or service center."? . Well, my Anarchists slogan sprang to mind, and I looked around on the internet to find out what the score was..
Turns out it's a pesky eeprom set to fault after so many pages... Found this site and looking into it, not fixed yet..
You need to reset the software ink pad counter inside the printer. You can do that with the appropriate Epson software
