Gee, 1998, how recent is that? Didn't the Repubs spend millions investigating Clinton while ignoring the threats against the US. YES. None of those you mention wanted the US to invade...not Scott Ritter - who warned against it, or Jacques Chiraq who bravely took a stand against the immoral BUSH decision to invade - None would have stolen Iraq from its people, would have colonized Iraq would have jeopardized the lives and health of half the US troops while leaving the US woefully devoid of any protection at home and this minute too. None would have turned their backs on worldwide opinion just so they could score some oilfields.... the events of 9/11 happened because Bush was asleep at the helm refusing to acknowledge the serious threats against us- not by Iraq - but by Saudis. ..NOt to belabor this or embarrass you, but where's that adjudication that effectively links alQaeda and Iraq...hmmmm? Maybe it was something your Rice Krispies told you...
