Yeah. That's part of the problem. If it weren't, the problem might never have come about. But they had to have THAT piece of real estate."

That's all I'm saying. In our frustration to find a "solution" that would amount to "peaceful coexistance" we are focusing on how and where "somebody done somebody wrong." Hey, isn't that a country western song? I realize that is all we've got to work with but I am a total cynic in regards to it. That isn't the basis for the conflict and it won't lead to a resolution.

We could totally resolve all of the issues of blood debt and the thing would boil right back up again. The Palestinians could drive the Jews into the sea...they'd be back. The Jews could annex all of the Palestinian land...Jordan, Egypt, Asyria, Iraq, Arabia etc would be camped on the beach.

I have all the respect in the world for anyone who tries to organize a peace plan. However, I believe it is a lost cause in the conventional sense. Unfortunately, it also corrupts and devours the participants.
