This is overwhelming!! I'm very glad you pointed out this thread. It's so fascinating I've got a headache from reading so much. As for alphanet specifically, I believe it caught a couple of them by surprise. FAX is something new to them. The problem is to pin these guys down to one topic. I haven't read everything so I don't know if they ever make a recommendation on the future of FAX or not, but they put it into a very large context for which I'm grateful. As you can tell, I can't get my ---- toghether either. When I do get some clarity I'll let you know. By the way, great job instigating this discussion. thanks, JimBo
