Every day I read stories right out of the pages of Atlas Shrugged. Today I read about a trend in offices where people are hectoring fellow employees about being over weight. They're mad because the other guy's bad health habits cost them money in higher health insurance costs. This is exactly the situation Rand described in the car company that was run ( and run into the ground )as a socialist enterprise. Whenever someone in the company had a baby, everyone was bummed out - another mouth to support. I don't much care for treatment plan, but her diagnosis of the problem is right on.
