Lightbridge Sells Mgmt Software To Iridium LLC

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Lightbridge Inc. (LTBG) sold its Retail Management
System software to Iridium LLC to help the international consortium sell telecommunications products worldwide.

The value of the deal wasn't disclosed.

In a press release Monday, Lightbridge said Iridium consists of
telecommunications and industrial companies which are developing a
worldwide wireless communications network that will incorporate 66 satellites. Motorola Inc. (MOT) owns a 25% stake in Iridium.

Lightbridge said it will work with Andersen Consulting to provide training, testing and support of RMS, as well as localizing the system for six different languages.

Retail Management System is a Windows-based client/server application that helps retail operations to manage the sale of telecom products.

Iridium plans to begin offering service late next year.

Lightbridge provides software and services to wireless telecommunications carriers.
