I've gotten the first of that with the insurance hike of 45% -- obscene
I have gotten a 20% hike at my first annual renewal date. I shopped a little around and ended up switching to another insurer at a 15% lower rate, mostly due to a significant reduction in earthquake insurance ( my house is in CA). it is still possible to find good rates if you are considered a good risk (I never had a claim so far).
