CNBC BILLBOARD FACE HITS THE HIGHWAY

June 16, 2003
-- VETERAN CNBC anchor Martha MacCallum has left the network.

MacCallum anchored "CheckPoint" (6:30-7 p.m.) and co-anchored "Morning Call with Martha MacCallum and Ted David," which aired from 10 a.m. to noon.

McCallum had been off the air for a month and reports of the high-profile business anchor's departure began flying.

Insiders say MacCallum's contract was not renewed by CNBC.

MacCallum has been featured prominently in a giant CNBC billboard near the West Side Highway touting the network's talent roster.
