So is it OK to LIE to the world to go to war? Is that better than having sex as an example to our children? Is is also better to show "cheaters win" with the Florida election scandals (see gregpalaast.com)? If you want morality, look at the Bible. Jesus spoke out primarily against the RICH. And the rich are who Bush serves and protects. The rich man, Jesus said, had more of a chance to get into heaven than a camel trying to fit through the eye of a needle. I was talking to a GOP big wig in Boston last week who knows the Bushes. He introduced me to Bush's cousin. Anyway, I asked him if he really believed Bush was religious. He said, yes, but mainly in a way that got him off booze so he could focus on power and money. Abnd the way he got power was to take money from big polluters, lie repeatedly during his campaigns and cheat to win the presidency. So is this a moral man? Just because he doesn't screw around on Laura. BTW, Bush is rumored to be covering up sevreal arrests in his past including one in Alabama in 1972 for cocaine, the same year he was AWOl the military.
