Thanks Jerome and your comment on covered calls is a very good one.

One other semi that I'm high on is LSI Logic. It is in the dog-house now. But if you hold this puppy for 6-12 months you ought to see a double. However unlike ADI be prepared for some really wild rides! With a longer perspective APCC is a very good bet. I'm hoping for 50% return in less than 6 months - bought at 20 about 1 month ago. But like LSI this one is played a lot by traders etc. Both companies have pretty darn good business models and nice niches. But to reiterate these are "not your fatber's stocks"! They move and move violently (especially LSI).

Yeah I missed the boat on COHU. Remember that almost 10% drop in the DOW - low maybe mid-April. That weekend I was looking at COHU and KNT (I keep notes!). Bought KNT because I had heavy direct semiconductor plays and wanted an indirect play. Also was not too keen on the lower liquidity in COHU. Reasoned that conservatively both could easily triple in the 5 year time span that I use. KNT did well for me (22 to 36). But I regret losing COHU since it had the small cap appeal. I have a watch list and COHU is on it. Saw it sitting at 32 ahwile back. Regretted not buying. Then saw it move up to 35. Regretted more. Then gapped to 42. Really regretted it. Maybe it'll come back to fill the gap! Nevertheless checked today P/E still reasonable. Maybe I'll reconsider establishing a position here. Thanks!
