Thanks. Any of the stuff I've looked at online just scares me more. I guess the one coming near us is considered "small" but doesn't seem small to me. My understanding is that the municipality has yet to issue the building permit. Big info meeting last night at the community centre, residents were there to show their opposition, but it's not clear what if anything can be done. It did seem to me that it was voiced that if this council approves it, they won't be getting another term in office, according to some of the comments flying out of the crowd. Not sure even what council can do, given that all the provincial requirements have been met. May depend on what happens with the changes to the standards come July 1st. They wouldn't answer any questions pertaining directly to the operation, just general info about nutrient management as a whole. They couldn't even give us many specifics there either...kept getting..."depends on soil type, and fertilizer requirements" sort of comments.
