U.S. Slaughter Estimates for Cattle, Hogs and Sheep (Table) 2003-06-18 14:00 (New York)
       Chicago, June 18 (Bloomberg)  -- The following table shows the slaughter estimates for U.S. livestock monitored by federal inspectors, according to figures supplied by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.  Government inspectors examine more than 99 percent of U.S. livestock before and after slaughter in more than 1,800 slaughtering and processing plants.  Only federally inspected meat can be sold interstate.
