I'm not pushing to make this illegal. I'm just pointing how how stupid and extreme some of these deals are. If I had a credit rating that was in the toilet I'd rather try and do without a credit card, or get a debit card, or even a secured card that didn't have all these fees (in other words something like a card with a $300 or $500 limit that I have to pay up front so that the lender is at no risk, but no $281 in fees) Tim
