Committee Bay Resources Ltd.: Commences Airborne Surveying Over Selected Gold Targets, June Drill Start-Up Thursday June 19, 9:03 am ET EDMONTON, ALBERTA--Committee Bay Resources Ltd. (CBR:TSXV) is pleased to report that they have commenced the 2003 gold exploration program at the Committee Bay Greenstone Belt, located northeast of Baker Lake, Nunavut. ADVERTISEMENT The company has contracted Geotech Ltd. of Aurora, Ontario to perform a time domain electromagnetic airborne survey over 7 high priority gold targets. An independent geophysical contractor will be on site for day-to-day quality control and provide geophysical modeling of selected gold targets prior to diamond drilling. A total of about 2500 m of diamond drilling in approximately 25 drill holes will be conducted in two phases during the 2003 program. Exploration over the last 10 years has led to the discovery of over 45 gold occurrences distributed across the entire 300 km length of the belt. During July and August the company will focus on gold exploration within the Committee Bay greenstone belt. Gold Fields Limited, through a subsidiary, is funding all gold exploration on the Committee Bay Project as part of its option to earn a 55 % interest in the property by spending US$5.0 million over the next 4 years.
