Home schooling by trial and error, well at least you are not out that subscription fee as well -g- .... everybody gets some wrong, it's the nature of the business, and especially at the start of the '96-to-'01 gold bear, it was very difficult to see such hard times coming .... i was only saved from greater losses by an interest in canadian banks, from '95 to '98, if not for them i would likely have been holding more resources .... look at Bishop's calls in '96, Kaiser's, anybody's, they look pretty stupid now, even for those who thought things could get weak, they never dreamed how weak
[edit] - and that's what made the difference on many, the high leverage ones that went teaters or almost teaters by 2001 - Greenstone, TVX, Kinross, Eldorado, etc, even <choke> William .... they borrowed big money to do big things, had gold gone to 500 like i remember BB saying it should/might-g-, their charts would have looked a lot different now .... that's the downside to the big lever, when a truck runs over the other end it can whack you in the chin
cdu.v - this is pure guess based on the most shallow of knowledge, and oh yes i have been wrong before-g-, but i think cdu might get a little cheaper tomorrow, then begin a bounce to cover at least part of its gap-down .... there will be trades in it yet, story is not over, i'll have it on watch if i can be at the computer
xcl.to - the Nesbitt dumper came out again today, with 200k ... that makes 500k this month ... same thing happened twice in 2001, couple of months apart, big dumps from Nesbitt .... each time there was good recovery following, so i'm betting that way this time |
