My guess is that Ken Pollack's column in today's New York Times reflects your position fairly closely. It also reflects mine as well.

But what is most disturbing about his piece and fits with just about everything else I've read is (a) the timing for the invasion, (b) the pressure the administration put on the intelligence types to produce reports underlining the need to go soon rather than later, and (c) the need to produce consensual reports underlining the danger. He also takes the African bit very seriously.
