I was thinking (specifically) about Syria, and the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, and the HORRIBLE human rights abuses in almost all the ME countries. There are tons of political prisoners in the ME, at least according to Amnesty International- so it was just logical to think of them. China and Africa too, of course. No, I don't think I'm prejudiced about the ME. I know a lot about what they do to political prisoners there.
