you weren't just a whistling Dixie when you said mrkts being noneventful today.
but for a friday approaching summer
I didn't expect much else either.
SO, yep, we're heading out to pick'em dem peas.
and yeah, kids absolutely love doing it.
we usually take our nephew too whose the age of our middle one who is close to five now, i think.
and for me, I'm much more tolerant of them pickin and diggin in someone else's garden.
It's always a challenge to see how much of the garden makes it to harvest with three youngins runnin around here..
... and that's not to mention the neighbors 9 month old lab who did a major job on it tuesday and again Wed.
finally tied it up here at my place so they'd have to come over and get it.
Poor pup just wants someone to play with
but I gave them the message if he gets in there again it will definitely be the last time!
Of course, I'm more bark than bite myself<G>
