Exactly: We meet, scholars, theologens, wisepersons, teachers, masters of health and well being, etc, etc, etc. And we have been given brains to study, read, listen, and observe.
Now, we should be able to take all of this in and mix it with our experience and our given nature. From that we ought to be able to come up with simple self evident truths that match up in principle and behave accordingly.
Yet: There are these other things known as avarice, greed, lies, corruption, temptation, etc. that tend to complicate things. So, not quite so easy. |
