Noel,

Apart from your quoted allegations:

Chemical defoliants used by the army against Palestinian lands, including Ain el-Beida in 1968, Araqba in 1972 and Mejdel Beni Fadil in 1978; Armed nuclear missiles in the 1967 and 1973 Arab-Israeli wars; Chemical weapons in the 1982 war on Lebanon, including hydrogen cyanide, nerve gas and phosphorus shells; In the 1980s lethal gases against Palestinian civilians and Palestinian, Lebanese and Israeli Jewish prisoners.

There is no proof that this ever happened. Even with Iraq -there was absolute proof of their use on the Iranians and on the Kurds. Those who try to deny the Kurdish attack - point to Iranian interests in the area and excuse the use of chemical weapons on the 'presence' of Iranians - like that makes it ok.

Israel is a very small country surrounded by a number of nations whose leaders are often quoted as saying they want to kill all the Jews. The Iranian Mullahs have even gone so far to suggest that they will nuke Israel the moment they have the capability.

Contrast that with Israeli rhetoric. One there hasn't been any. They do not officially admit to any WMD, but clearly let it be known that they have a doomsday option - their version of MAD. If Israel is overrun by a new Saladin - there won't be any Islamic shrines and very few people in traditional Arab/Iranian cities left living. Or so the rumors go...

Not much different than the US vs USSR. And even the Soviets never went as far as the Iranians in their rhetoric.

John
