What happens to the burnt-out husks of these "iron" soldiers after their minds and bodies have been eaten way by relentless modification and ceaseless toil is, of course, of no concern to the Bush Regime.

Look in a mirror Raymond... Look in a mirror...

But as far as I'm concerned, they can research all they want, but getting me to take the stuff (were I still in uniform) would be something entirely different.

But what I believe they are trying to achieve is short-term physical enhancement, primarily for SpecOps troops who need to be "clicked on" for high stress, but relatively short-term missions.

And some of the electronic gadgets they are working on for the "war fighter" are pretty interesting.. I happened to see a display of some of them the other day.... But I don't believe they are quite "soldier proof" as of yet. And they still have to figure out how to power much of it (this is where fuel cells might have a great future).

As for Poindexter... Let's just say that we might have found a place where we finally agree. Can't quite figure out who made that decision.
