Groove Workspace. groove.net This software has nothing with biotech to do (yet). But I think it is extremely interesting. I just stumbled over the thing looking for something completely different. On the other hand, I have been on the outlook for a thing like this for a year without finding anything useful. In short. This is Notes MkII (but much nicer). Created by Ray Ozzie who was also the force behind MkI (the real Notes). Simple to set up and to run. A positive thing is that there is a somewhat crippled version available free for personal use. (Allows the creation of three workspaces only). I went ahead and bought a standard license for 69 USD. Now I just have to figure out what to use it for. Have you seen this? Used it? Any ideas? Might be useful if we decide to do some data crunching of our own. Anyhow, I am in the Groove.net catalogue as Erik Forsberg. If you have some good ideas - let us hear them. This application has a lot of potential. Not just for swapping files. Erik
