Democrats fully supported the war in Afghanistan, so apologies for my liberal friend. The war issue now is truth and careful planning versus deception and rushing into morasses that will make us LESS secure not more secure. After Vietnam, thre i no excuse for any President to be fabricating evidence to support a rush to war. And it was a rush. We could have waited 1 months for the UN, or a year. Didn't matter much. Saddam was no imminent threat to the US, as we now know.
