My concern is that too high a percentage of the float is already held by institutions. Are new institutions going to pay the high premiums required to pry shares from other institutions? If there was a higher percentage held by retail investors it would be much easier to fill the large orders institutions like to place.
They might be inclined to figure they missed the boat on this one, and go looking elsewhere.
I hope not, but it is a possibility.
