you don't think Feinstein is better than Davis? I was in HS and College locally when she was Mayor of SF, and I remember her battle over this nuclear vessel that SF was supposed to house, the anti nuke activists in SF were all over it and in the end Feinstein lost the battle to keep the ship in SF, but I admired her independent voice on the issue. I don't quite get why Feinstein is lumped in with Boxer as if they are 2 zebras with the same stripes. Maybe to the far right crowd, anybody who is pro-choice and pro-environment is some kind of liberal nut, which is really more of a problem for the right imo. Anyway Feinstein is capable of reasonable thought in economics and state budget issues, I would never let Boxer loose on the budget. JMO. BTW is this bart/SFO extension part of where the budget surplus went? We have a fair amt of construction on the SV roads too. Seems like some of that surplus money came here (when we had it)- or projects were started when times were good?
