so you don't know the ASIC vendor and you guess it's standard 5% royalty. Well, my source says it's NEC. WCDMA is not exactly IS95 or CDMA1X, how do you know the royalty is the "standard" 5%? I have not seen a single press release about the legal implication and royalty structure of what Qualcomm gets (if any) from a WCDMA chip made by NEC or anyone else.
