I'm just talking about knowing
the difference between certainty and certitude

Would you clarify for me what you conceive the difference to be?

The OED notes that etymologically the term means "certainty, objective or subjective," though there is a trend toward limiting it to "subjective certainty." But since all knowledge is ultimately subjective, as I've been noting, differing only in different degrees of subjectivity, the distinction seems meaningless in terms of modern logical thought.

Do you have a better way to explain to me how you distinguish the two terms?
