I see almost nothing but celebrating. Granted, our town tends to be patriotic, but the only counterbalance to that patriotism, is SOME education that our history is less than totally praiseworthy.

I don't know where people live who don't see America constantly celebrated. Out town has parades draped in red, white and blue. Almost everyone hangs out a flag. The bumper stickers are full of aggressive USA love. I'd say there is plenty of self love in this country.

Of course the folks in this country no doubt define "successes" differently- but that's one of our successes( imo) we've got a lot of different opinions, and they all have the floor.
