Nothing can be done to bring back the dead. That is why we should not have cavorted with Saddam in the first place. We gave him technology, intelligence and weapons. Supported him in the war against Iran. The chem weapons that he used on the Kurds were purchased from the US.

Now add to the mass graves another 10,000 dead from the bombing and the war. Is the only way to stop the killing by killing more?

Who bears responsibility for two assassination attempts on Saddam with huge bombs that killed hundreds of innocents and we missed Saddam too. I do not agree with these kinds of tactics, and I am ashamed of my government for such foolishness. To allow for many innocent dead in the attempt to take out one man is an abomination of the highest order. And we were not satisfied with the carnage on the first attempt, so it's tried again.

This is not a sane way to conduct ourselves, is it?
