Question about copying files in DOS.

For some reason Windows will not let me see my files on one of my partitions. The data files are there...I can see them in DOS. I want to copy those files to a partition I can view before trying any partition magic software to correct the problem.

How can I copy files in a directory when DOS only shows the first 6 letters of the directory name? For example: [MYPHOTO~2] is a directory I want to copy files from, but when I type in CD\MYPHOTO~2 or CD[MYPHOTO~2] it says invalid directory.

Any help on this would be great appreicated.
