Outstanding post, BC....it relates "Doug Noland's nightmare" (as our distinguished Bear colleagues on CapitalStool.com refer to it) in all it's horror. Another way of looking at it is to examine what's happened the last several times the Fed has attempted any sort of monetary tightening....the reaction of the market and the economy in general have been more violent with each successive attempt (therefore resulting in feebler and feebler attempts). This will all end badly, load up on gold and get off of debt, or pay the piper.<NFG>
