I have no idea where that second Post article came from. Maybe it was planted by the CIA. WHo knows? The fact it, Atta wasn't even in Europe at the time and couldn't have been as he was busy planning 9-11.

If you listen to Wesley Clark you know the WH was trying hard to link Saddam and Al Qaida. Dont put it past them to plant disinformation. They have done it many times. And the CIA has a history of it.

Also, in Nov 2001, I was actually disappointed to hear the Atta meeting story was discredited. I too was looking for a scapegoat for 9-11. I was very hawkish at that point, and also pissed off about the Anthrax scares. If they had linked those to Saddam I would have been 100% for the war.
