You're forgetting even before the war we'd dropped thousands of bombs on anything in Iraq ressembling a missile, radar or weapons site. Plus the UN inspectors had years to comb over the place, and destroyed plenty. Some say 90% or more of his bombs and missiles. By last year, Saddam was a paper tiger, a shadow of what he used to be when he had the power to intimidate his neighbors. He didn't even have an air force.

The one mystery is if he had WMD's why didn't he use them? IMHO Bushies should have found out about that prior to invading, rather than after the fact. Now their credibility is badly damaged. You cannot deny that.
