Incidentally, au, according to my readings, the problem isn't the money supply. The biggest problem is the amount of "other" money being created by the credit markets which doesn't show up on the M123 statistics. Ecample: Asset backed securities. Lender buys accounts receivable from hospitals and packages them up as a security and sells it as a bond. No money created, but someone has to eventually pay the hospital bill to make good on the bond. These kinds of "Dollar claims" are exploding. CD
