Actually, I think you're a gasbag. The polls "prove" that the propaganda campaign was quite successful, which isn't exactly a surprise. Warmongering and jingoism have traditionally been pretty popular in the US, Viet Nam was sort of an aberration on that front. It's all very nice and everything that Karl Rove and the PNAC people were able to come together to play the war card effectively on W's behalf, but only a real true believer could find that an unambiguously good thing. Not that there's any shortage of true believers around here.
