One thing that we will agree on is that Iraq is better off without Saddam. Now what will come to take his place?

But the end can never justify the means, especially when the means is to kill innocent people to kill a tyrant. I cannot ever condone the destruction of an entire building to get one man. That makes us no better than the tyrant himself.

What I've been talking about is taking intelligent action. Something that seems to be lost on the Bush administration. This is not a dem V rep issue. The Clinton administration did not get it either.

If you have a turd floating in the toilet you can get rid of it by throwing a hand grenade in the comode. Yes this works, but it is messy. How about considering using the smart way...flush the turd down!

The way Bush is acting we will soon be isolated and have our borders armed as you say. This is not the kind of world we want. That is why it is important to maintain a dialog with our allies in the world, and to broaden that alliance. Not to run and hide.

We need a broad coalition to keep the peace. To fight terrorism, and to bring tyrants like Saddam to their knees.

We did not need to fight this war the way Bush did. The Bush doctrine is not an intelligent plan. It's pure madness.
Pre-emptive war is madness. Think! We do not want wars...so to prevent war...we start one first! Such insanity cannot be tolerated by the strongest nation in the world...especially from within. Imagine if China now decides that Taiwan needs to be reeled in? Or if North Korea decides that South Korea is a threat? They have an example to follow now...pre-emptive war! The Bush Doctrine! If you can't beat em...beat em up!

No sir, this is not the American way. Hyping the WMD situation to grease the way to military conflict in Iraq? This is pure madness on a scale that we have not see in the World since before the Cold War. We do not want this kind of world, and come November 04, I'll be casting my vote against Bush in the most effective way that I can see.

The conflict in Iraq will last a least 5 years, and maybe a decade. This open wound will continue to bleed our country. It's a hatchet wound that will not heal quickly. Surgical strike! It does not exist, except in the mad mind of Rumsfeld. Military calculation is not the way to win peace in the world. You have to be smarter than that.
