...Davis won fair and square. You forgot to mention the negative ad campaign that Davis waged against Riordan prior to the Republican primary. Was that fair and square? You also forgot to mention that Davis took political contributions from Enron and that there were a number of people on his staff and on his energy boards who owned considerable amounts of stock in Enron. hench.net Since 1996, Davis has received $119,500 from Enron, including $42,500 since becoming governor. Davis has said he will not return any money, but adds he no longer accepts campaign contributions from energy brokers or generators.
