You believe Hitchins about Kerry? Yes. What Hitchins said or did not say about the WMD's is of no importance. Kerry, not Hitchins, was the one who had access to classified information. I do not have a problem with anyone who articulated a principled consistent opposition to the war. That is their right. I personally feel that Kerry waffled on this issue and it is disingenuous for him to now state that we should have waited for UN approval and a broader coalition. Neither event was going to happen. Political expediency, not principle, has driven Kerry's posturing on the war. I am going to have to track down that Charles Jenks article that Hitchins referenced. Do you have any idea where I can find it?
