Hi Lizzie,

GM had terrible quality in the 80's,but they were big and could survive the fall.

In between they've bought portions of Isuzu,Suzuki,Saab,Daewoo,and Fiats and American General's Hummer.

A couple of billion and a solid owner base can make up for some patches - especially if you are aggressive - i.e. Larry.
