Certainly we all have a lot of resonsibility for our own actions, no one would question that. Recently there was a case of a young woman in my area who was HIV positive and went out and infected a number of young men. Each one of those guys willing took their pants off and took the plunge so to speak. They could have choosen to not have sex, or at the very least to use protection, but they did not. I seriously doubt though that bringing this up in front of a jury would have been a good defense for the woman who infected them. There is a huge difference, both morally and legally, between being stupid/naive and thus having a crime commited against you, and acting in a criminal manner.
