Thanks for the explanation.

It sounds like a great product with many clever ideas built
into it.

I assume it must cost a lot of have it insured against
possible lawsuits should it malfunction or whatever.
Did you have to set up some sort of separate company for it
to protect the assets of your electronic biz?

1/4" vinyl tubing that is run through expansion joints,
and such, connects the sensor to what we call the sensor
box.

Is it possible for this tubing to get kinked or crushed as
the ground settles or is it fairly well constructed to
withstand anything like that.

I suppose you can cover yourself by having some sort of
warning statement on the unit to test it on a regular basis
like they do on smoke detectors...

You got yourself a good product there. I look forward to
seeing it and hearing about it at my pool store.

I can tell everyone how I know the dude. I'd also like to see
you on the news someday with the Today Show Gadget Guru
or something like that.

Have you come up with some sort of installation kit for
above ground pools? It seems easy enough. Probably would
only require a small hole to be drilled.

One other question (or two).
Does the unit get removed during the winter?
Can it stand up to the pressures of the ice forming around it?

<Clappy heads down into his laboritory to come up with an
invention to to send to Dalin and his engineers to mass
produce and revolutionize the world.>

Now where did I put the blue prints for my mini pocket-sized
combination donut and coffee maker that allows you to bake
and brew your breakfast in your car while motoring to
work... <vbg>
