Just what perverse idea makes you think it is fine to INSIST calling people "trash", after someone says she is highly annoyed at the term is beyond me.
Basically, it seems, your people say Europeans who like to party are "trash". And you are so happy with that you keep posting about it.
Let me tell you one thing - Some of the places mentioned in this article, you probably wouldn't be able to enter. What it looks like is that Americans who cannot even comprehend this lifestyle are slurring people dressing up and going out to certain select places, staying up late, partying, and paying what seems to most of you as impossible amounts of money, as "trash".
If I didn't know so many cultivated, open-minded, unprejudiced Americans, I would have to reevaluate my whole understanding of your people, judging by the intolerant, self-righteous, holier-than-thou nature of a lot of posts on SI coming from Americans and regarding the rest of the world. Fortunately, that is not the case.
You see, the difference between you and me is that I would NEVER slur a nation as a whole, or even in part. If I saw it in the media, I would never think of posting it. What I see in your posts stays as your sad little opinion for me, not to be generalized to the rest of your fellow Americans. |
