Some what OT: As one contemplates the possible FED moves, I can't help feeling that whatever is done will be met with some questions, and negativity. If they lower rates, but not 50 basis points, the public will wait for a further cut. If they lower 50 basis points then the public might conclude that the economy is doing worse then expected. If they stand pat, but say they are ready to cut...everyone will wait for the cut. If they stand pat and say the economy is about to do better....everyone will panic that interest rates will start to go up soon. Hell of a box to be in. This is the time that clear communication might save the day...not "Greeniespeak". m1
