Oh my....See, now that's what I love about you. Your constantly blowing my mind. <g>
Thanks for the explanation.
No, thank YOU for the explanation. I knew you were in construction, but I didn't know what you constructed.
DOH!!!
One is on its way....for ......R&D???? No?? Tell me what you think. Put as much R&D into as ya want and report back to me that we need 1000. <gg>
I already got some ideas and confirmations on what I was thinking from ya. Thanks.<g>
assume it must cost a lot of have it insured against possible lawsuits should it malfunction or whatever. Did you have to set up some sort of separate company for it to protect the assets of your electronic biz?
Yep...and yep!
Is it possible for this tubing to get kinked or crushed as the ground settles or is it fairly well constructed to withstand anything like that.
Its pretty durable. I bet it could withstand the freezing winters. It is Rain Drip 1/4" Vinyl Tubing. A quote from the packaging:
"No Elbows Required: Turns 90 dgrees without kinking - Can be left out year-round, buried or on the surface, in any weather, without cracking or UV deterioration."
We do add 90 degree elbows, supplied in the installation kit(for all pools). The installation manual recommends using conduit for brand new installs.
I suppose you can cover yourself by having some sort of warning statement on the unit to test it on a regular basis like they do on smoke detectors...
Warning Statements Everywhere!! It's pretty obvious if there is no movement on the LCD of the control panel.
One other question (or two). Does the unit get removed during the winter? Can it stand up to the pressures of the ice forming around it?
It should do fine. It was designed for that. The control box is a Nema enclosure, very durable. The PCB inside is conforml coated to withstand harsh environments.
(dalin makes a note to travel to Clappy's this winter to test the freezing of his new contraption........hmmmmm....can he get there by boat??) :o)
Now, I only have 1 question.....
Which store do you want it at? Will one suffice? <g>
:o)
Ok, that's 2 questions.......
It cracks me up. Several times, I started to write you a message and tell ya I wanted to send you one, once I read you had a pool....... a few days ago. I knew ya would pick it apart. Your good at that.....
Never finished the messages though...always had fires to put out.<g>
POLVIE!!!!
Love yer thread man!!!
:o)
