if the business was so darn good, they'd be using thie money to build their business rather than playing the options game. i guess it isn't that good. I agree completely that Qualcomm shouldnt be dabbling in options....but I think you've got a logical disconnect with your conclusion. Qualcomm simply doesnt have much need for cash in their day to day operations. They are fabless semiconductor company with a ton of IP and cashflow....where exactly do you suggest they invest their cash (within their core competencies)? The business could be growing at 100% for the next 5 years and Qualcomm still wouldnt have much use for the cash in their day to day business. Slacker
