It's time to deal with Burma now [Myanmar] voanews.com

<The Burmese government says it is holding the democracy leader for her own protection. It denies persistent reports that she is living in deplorable conditions in a concrete hut at Rangoon's notorious Insein prison. Japan has turned off the money supply.

It looks as though freedom is on a bit of a roll. Doing better than Al Qaeda and Saddam and other Stalinists.

It's so ungentlemanly to put a nice lady like that in gaol [albeit 'for her own protection' - did they ask her if she wanted that protectioin?] They need to be taught some manner.
